I love checking out the Joli Paquet kits the designers offer a few times a year. I recently bought this little bird kit from Cindy, one of the Joli designers.

Isn't he adorable? I couldn't resist. His little nest of flowers and buttons and whatever else he could find is just so precious. He sits atop a wooden spool decorated with vintage fabric with a beautiful green and turquoise floral print. His party hat is my favorite part! He was easy to make following Cindy's instructions. My only problem is being impatient waiting for the glue to dry!
