Seaside Cuff
I stopped at the bead store and found a strand of glass beads that reminded me of a mermaid. They look almost like a watercolor painting, with their blue, green, and purple shades. I used them on a cuff bracelet that is perfect for the beach.
I added other beads, pearls, and charms. I dyed a length of ribbon for the closure (it wraps around the shell at the opposite end).
I used a vintage velvet ribbon for the base and added a very old piece of tatted lace on top.
Here's a closeup of some of the bits and bobs that adorn the bracelet.
Now I just need a beach vacation so I can wear it!
