Making Christmas Cards

This year, I decided to make most of my Christmas cards. I started before Halloween. Last night, I finished stamping the insides. I did not use embossing powder like I had planned, but I did get them done. Now I just need to add a personal sentiment, sign, and mail them! Of course, mailing these is going to require that I have each one weighed and stamped at the post office. (I should go right before they close on a Saturday :)

Anyway, here is a sample of one style that I created. I purchased a pile of antique Christmas postcards to use on my cards. I used patterned paper and vintage sheet music as the background, added the postcard, and then added Stickles, flowers, embellishments, and sparkly ribbon. On cards with snow images, I used my new Marvy Uchida Snow Marker. It writes like a paint pen, and then you use the embossing heat gun to "puff" it.

I am going to have to look for that snow pen. It looks so cool the way you highlighted everything with it. Love all those cards you made. They are beautiful!
