You Better Watch Out...

There's still time to get your Christmas cards made and mailed before the big day, but you better hurry. Here's one that I made with a new Santa stamp that I bought at Michael's. I liked the card so much that I made a stack of them to send out to my friends.

I made them using different patterned paper backgrounds and vintage trims, different shapes and sizes, but the basic design is the same.

I stampted the image onto white cardstock and cut it out. Then I used colored pencils to color in Santa, and Antique Linen Distress Ink on the stamped sheet music. I layered a piece of vintage sheet music behund the stamped image as a matt to help it stand out on the dark or busy patterned paper.

My favorite part of the card is the sentiment. The cover reads "He knows if you've been bad or good..."
The inside reads "You better leave extra cookies."
