Denmark
We spent half of September touring Europe. We visited Denmark, Germany, Estonia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, and England. I thought I'd share a few photos here and there between projects.
We spent our time in and around Copenhagen, Denmark. We visited four castles and the most popular tourist sites.
Tivoli Gardens, the oldest amusement park in the world. It was so quaint and quiet; not at all like Six Flags or Disney.
Frederiksborg Palace:
The chapel in Frederiksborg:
We walked along the waterfront and visited The Little Mermaid.
Nyhavn, a people-watching area full of cafes.
Rosenborg Palace:
This castle also held the Treasury with the crown jewels.
We also visited Kronborg Castle, which is famous from Shakespeare's Hamlet. But, the palace is not as ornate as any of the others we visited.
Our next stop was Germany. I'll share a few of those photos soon.
