Happy Anniversary

Seven years ago we were married in a beautiful church and celebrated by a gathering of our close family and friends.

Here's a layout I did recently with one of our wedding photos. I used a piece of Prima printed cardboard as the base, which I cut into the scalloped shape and then distressed with a craft knife. Then I started layering on elements until I was happy with the layout. I cut a piece of vintage embroidery, cut a heart from old ledger paper, sprayed a chipboard heart with Glimmer Mist, and added vintage buttons and doilies among my cluster of flowers and embellishments.

I saturated the coloring on the photo to give it a pop art effect. I got the title from the Cinderella song, and sing it in my head every time I look at this project.

Here's the card I made for Husband for our anniversary. I used supplies from the Swirlydoos May kit, ribbon scraps from the Anthologies June kit (to be released June 1), and Webster's alphas.

Okay, I just love having you on my sidebar so I can see what you are up too (when I can actually get to my computer...) Love your layout of your wedding pic! What a beautiful couple! What a wonderful way to keep display your wedding pic.

Happy Anniversary, hope it was a good one! And can I tell you again how much I love everything in the package you sent? We are having our hardwood floors done now, so we are pretty much camping out in our house, but I can't wait to get everything back together so I can sort and create with everything you sent!
