Remembering Birthdays

Today is my friend Jane's birthday. I would have forgotten if she didn't mention it. We're getting together today for lunch so I made her a little card using more of that Basic Grey Sultry collection.

And to make sure that I don't forget someone's birthday again, I made a birthday "calendar" book. I recycled a lot of supplies for the pages. Here is the cover:

I used packaging from Prima flowers for the cover. It's a nice thick piece of transparency with beautiful words printed all over it. I added a scrap of Prima paper on the underside. The cover is decorated with an embellished cupcake from Crafty Secrets, Webster's Pages journaling card, Prima flowers, large sparkly button, trims, and a vintage flashcard from Pretty Little Studio (etsy). I tied some random ribbon scraps to the binder rings.

Here is a peek at the inside pages:

I'll share those tomorrow.

I am kind of cursing you for posting about Pretty Little Studio on etsy (LOL). What a FAB shop! Just went there and loaded up my cart...you should get a commission or something!

Erica, the card you made is wonderful! I think those Webster's letters are my absolute favorite letter stickers out there! I am loving your birthday book. I just checked out the inside pages and it is just stunning!
