Home Wreath
This project started as a wreath for my front door. But, I got carried away with the embellishments and didn't want to put it outside. So, the wreath now hangs on the inside of my door.
I started with a basic grapevine wreath and added vintage crochet trim, dried and silk flowers, stained fabric, buttons, and metal embellishments, like the jello-o mold that I altered with an old photo and buttons.
I made a banner to hang in the middle of the wreath using coffee-stained tags and alphas I cut on my Cricut.
This is an old art deco door plate. I added a large key into the keyhole for the bird to sit on.
This is my favorite part. It's an old metal children's tea cup that I filled with shredded sheet music and a tiny bird's nest.
Now I need to get busy making a wreath to hang outside!

Happy 4th to you too. Sweet wreath, btw. I had to laugh about your comment, he sold his dirtbike, to help pay for a crotch rocket. Much scarier!!!

What a fabulous wreath, Erica! SO love the vintage feel and all the sweet bits you added. Love that jello mold with the photo and love the birdnest in the cup. The door plate with the bird are wonderful, too!
