Happy St. Patrick's Day
Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day! My niece thinks she should get gifts on "Patrick's Day," so I made her a little pin and hair barette so she can show off her Irish pride.
For the pin (on the right), I punched a scalloped circle from a piece of Prima packaging, then added two sparkly shamrock stickers. Every girl needs some sparkle! I stitiched a ruffle from green polka dot ribbon and used my hot glue gun to adhere it to the back. I added another punched paper circle to finish off the back and glued on a pin back.
I made the "Kiss Me, I'm Irish!" banner on my computer, cut it out, and adhered with glue dots.
For the hair barette (on the left), I glued some of the leftover ribbon ruffle onto the barette and then added a sparkly shamrock sticker. These both held up to her wearing them to play in, so hopefully they make it through tomorrow!
