Vintage Easter

I made a couple of small Easter decorations, using up some vintage postcard images I had leftover.

First up is a wall hanging that I made using My Mind's Eye paper (the clouds background) that I adhered to a piece of chipboard. Then I fussy cut the postcard image and layered on top of the patterned paper.

Then I started embellishing - with Stickles, sewing pattern tissue ruffles, and hand-dyed ruffled crepe paper. I added a Prima dogwood flower (perfect for spring), to which I added Stickles for extra sparkle. I gathered several trims with a spring color palette, made a paper flag, and added an Idea-ology charm.

Next, I made an Easter ATC and then added a ribbon to turn it into an ornament.

I added the postcard image to a piece of cardboard and embellished with Stickles and more ruffled sewing pattern tissue. Now I have an easy, sweet ornament that's perfect for a gift.

Wow! the image and the background from the first wall hanging go perfect together; amazing cut out, it is so detailed. Loving the wood banner with the saying.
that ATC is so pretty, the ruffles look great =D
