Estonia
I shared photos from our stops in Denmark and Germany. Here are a few pics from Tallinn, Estonia. I have to say that we had the coldest day of our trip in Estonia, and it was so gray and windy. I was also fighting a cold, so we didn't stay out long.
We explored the Old Town, a medieval city that was built from the 13th to 16th centuries.
We visited the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral:
And walked the cobblestone streets, soaking up the history.
I loved this store sign:
This pharmacy, which was closed the day we visited, is the oldest continuously run pharmacy is Europe. It has been in business in the same spot since the early 15th century.
The remains of one of the wall towers...
sits right next to McDonald's. After all, doesn't everyone deserve a break today?
We did some shopping in Tallinn, buying a lot of our souvenirs from the small shops in Old Town. The next stop on our trip was Saint Petersburg, Russia.
