Disney Mini Album

We spent Christmas with our families at Disney World. I made a mini album to capture my favorite memories and photos.

Here is the cover, and just a few of the inside pages.

I bought a stack of chipboard albums when they were on sale at Michael's for about 10 cents, and used one for this album. I used the chipboard pages as "tabs" - one for each park and for the cover and back.

I used primarily Webster's Pages paper, and filled the book with glitter! I used glittered paper, glittered flowers, glittered Christmas picks...

I added a couple of tags and envelopes here and there.

Even though it was a Christmas celebration, I knew I had a lot of pink and pastel photos, so I used these colors throughout the album.

For this page, I used pieces of glittered Christmas picks to look like coral and sea ferns around the photo of Lily Munchkin and Nemo.

Of course, we did a princess breakfast. Lily loved the "kid parade" through the dining room.

We met all of her favorites, except Ariel.

We had a wonderful time and would love to do it all over again!

Disney Fun

We spent the Christmas week at Disney World with our family. We had a great time and I'm just now recovered enough to organize my photos! Here are a few of our favorite moments.

My niece with Mary Poppins. She was star struck!

Gettin' our "bug" on.

We had breakfast with the princesses. Unfortunately, her favorite (Ariel) was still sleeping and couldn't make it.

Disney was all decked out for the holidays. The castle was coated in lights. What a brilliant sight! Paired with the "snow" falling on Main Street, it was truly magical.

The girls at Epcot.

As crowded as the parks were, we still managed to get on all the rides. We were there when the park opened each morning and were able to walk right on many rides until lunchtime, when it got very crowded.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights display at the Studios was fantastic!

We were all so sad, and crying, when we had to pack up and leave. We shared a magical Christmas at the happiest place on earth. Can't wait to go back!

We're Off to See the Wizard

Actually, we just got back. We took advantage of the long weekend and jetted off to Orlando. We spent a few days in Disney World and one magical day at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Universal Studios. Here are just a few pics from our trip.

On our first night, we bought tickets to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. It was a lot of fun and the park was not crowded, so we got to ride many of the rides.

See that bag husband is holding? We got to trick or treat through the park. He loved it!

Special Halloween fireworks. (I preferred the Halloween fireworks in Disneyland, but these were beautiful.)

Then it was off to Hogwarts Castle at Universal. Here I am with the Hogwarts Express conductor.

My favorite ride was the one through the castle. I thoroughly enjoyed the wait because you got to see many Hogwarts artifacts, including the moving paintings, Dumbledore's office, and the Sorting Hat.

Hagrid's hut as we're waiting to ride Buckbeak.

Here I am with my second cup of frozen butterbeer outside the Three Broomsticks.

Husband's favorite part of the trip was the Food and Wine Festival at EPCOT. We literally ate our way through all the countries, sampling food, wine, and dessert from each one.

Yes, we're still eating the next day. Here I am at Disney's Hollywood Studios, after riding the Rock n Roller Coaster and just before we got on Toy Story Midway Mania - a new favorite!

We had a wonderful time and can't wait to go back again!
