Home Paper Bag Album

My sister and her husband recently purchased their first house - it's an adorable "Cape Cod" in South Jersey. I got to see it for the first time when I visited for Easter. I made this paper bag album for her to fill with photos as they make memories in their new home.

I love making paper bag albums, and they are pretty easy to do. For instructions on putting the album together, google "paper bag album tutorial" and find the instructions that fit your style. Basically, you stack a few brown lunch bags, fold them in half, and oila! a paper bag album. You can stitch up the fold to extra support, or just punch holes and use binder rings to hold the pages together - this is my preferred method since I don't sew.

Then, you start layering on your papers, embellishments, flowers, titles, etc. Make sure you leave room for photos!

I took some photos of my sister's house when I was there, which I'll add to the album. I'm also leaving some pages open so she can add her own photos as she lives in the house and adds more of her "personality" to it.
