Lily Pipecleaner
After I made a spun cotton bride and groom version of my parents, I tried making my first pipecleaner doll. I must say, it is a lot less messy than the spun cotton.
First I made the form for the body using two chenille pipecleaners. I used a third "normal" pipecleaner to create an open circle for the head. I used a photo of Lily Munchkin's face, and then dressed her in a pink crepe paper dress.
I used vintage pink angel hair for her hair, and then embellished her with tiny flowers, pearls, and butterflies.
I stood her on a wooden heart that I painted and added sheet music to. (This is the same wooden heart I used for my Prima Ballerina pin.)
Voila! Lily Pipecleaner was born!
