Winter Wonderland

Here is another pastel Christmas card. This one uses Webster's Pages paper, and lots of sparkle.

First I cut my paper using a scalloped circle die from Spellbinders, for both the card base and the patterned papers.

I added a Prima mirrored embellishment from my stash, popped the village scene for dimension, and added glitter to the trees. The snowflakes are vintage.

I typed the sentiment on vintage wallpaper and then punched it with a Martha Stewart scalloped circle punch. Glitter all around the border adds even more sparkle.

Birthday Cards

I have some birthday celebrations coming up, so I made a few cards.

This card uses a pretty turquoise wood grain print from My Mind's Eye, Crate Paper yellow plaid, Prima cutout, and Elle's Studio tag along with antique lace and hand dyed seam binding. I tied on a bright yellow birthday candle.

This card uses a fabulous pattern girl with birdcage that I purchased recently. I used the green in her dress to set the color scheme.

And finally, this gate-fold card uses Webster's Pages paper and a new stamp I purchased at Michael's last week. I covered the inside with vintage sheet music.

Holiday Magic

As soon as I put my Halloween craft supplies away, I started making Christmas decorations. I found a large Maya Road bottle cap in my stash, and decided it was perfect for an ornament. I traced and cut out the background paper from a sheet of Bo Bunny paper. After adhering it to the inside of the bottle cap, I added mica flakes and a border of gold Stickles.

Then I added the Webster's Pages trim around the perimeter. The Santa is cut from a piece of Graphic 45 paper. I added a bleached bottle brush tree and then embellished it with mica flakes, Stickles, pearls, rhinestones, and an old mercury glass bead at the top.

I added some snow for the deer to stand in and a chandelier drop and rhinestone bead to the bottom.
